From Chapter 11 the two events that I chose are the Cotton Revolution and Nat Turner’s Rebellion. These two events are very significant because both kind of made slavery strong in the southern regions. And also because it shows that racism was deep rooted and even slaves were no less when it came to trying to free themselves.
